Following news of their first album in four years, Pearl Jam will be playing a very intimate UK show next month, and Xfm have all the details right here.
As previously reported, after a four year gap, Pearl Jam have confirmed that they will be releasing a new album. The self titled new record will be out on May 1, preceded by a new limited edition single, 'World Wide Suicide' on April 24.
In fact, over in America, 'World Wide Suicide' has already debuted on the Billboard Modern Rock Audience Chart at number 1, and number 3 overall on the mainstream Billboard chart, making it the highest Modern Rock debut in US history. Get them.
To mark the occasion the band will be playing London's Astoria on April 20. This'll be Pearl Jam's first live show in the UK since 2000, when they played two sell-out shows at Wembley Arena.
Tickets for the gig go on sale at 9.00 am tomorrow (Friday March 30) and will only be available online from www.seetickets.com or www.ticketmaster.co.uk and (of course) the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.
Tickets are (not surprisingly) limited to two per person.
The date will sell out in a staggeringly quick time. So we suggest you get your sh**t together and get ready to book as soon as they go on sale.
More - and larger - UK and European tour dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
